Dive Term of the Day

AIR: The primary breathing gas used by Scuba divers. Air is made up of approximately 20.95% Oxygen, O2, 78.08% Nitrogen, N2, 0.03% Carbon Dioxide, CO2, and 0.94% trace elements or gases. For most non scientific purposes or applications, these values are rounded up to 21% O2 and 79% N2.
