DAN Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for Scuba Diving Instructor Course

DAN´s Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for Scuba Diving Course represents entry-level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better recognize the warning signs of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and administer first aid using Basic Life Support techniques and Automated External Defibrillators while activating the local emergency medical services, (EMS) and / or arranging for evacuation to the nearest appropriate medical facility

If you are Dive Educator, you can be a DAN Automated External Defibrillator Instructor!
DAN Instructors are scuba diving educators who want to offer dive safety programs to their students. Once you have taken the DAN Instructor Qualification Course, and met the other prerequisites below, you can teach The AED Module.  

Prerequisites for taking the DAN Automated External Defibrillator Instructor Course:
Successfully complete the DAN Instructor Qualification Course
DAN Member
Active scuba diving educator*
Current CPR Instructor
Documentation of First Aid training
